Engineer by profession, painting as a passion
I am engineer by profession, painting as a passion. I was born in 1988 in Palma de Mallorca and I am in love with the sea and I admire the landscape on the islands.
I started drawing and painting when I was a kid and I painted my first picture at the age of 8 and I was taking painting lessons from Margarita until 10.
At a second learning stage between 11 to 16 years old, I achieved and also reinforced the knowledge of the main oil-based techniques and I set my artistic career with the lessons of Maria Oliver Mir. I started drawing with light/dark mode with vine charcoal sticks and blending stump. Then, I learned and acquired new knowledge in perspective drawing, vanishing point and still life painting. Later, I focused on improving the oil painting and I began experimenting with the color palette.
At about age 16 and for a long time, I abandoned the oil painting because it was important to concentrate on my studies.
It’s not until the age of 29 that I returned to paint with the desire to create new works of art. I was taking painting lessons for a year from Paco Gaita with whom I continued learning and I incorporate new colors, like the cobalt blue, in my color palette.
Nowadays, I’m painting mainly seascapes of the Balearic coast.
